Sebastian Aanonsen has deep roots in Risør's cultural life and has distinguished himself throughout his career as a dedicated musician and cultural organizer.

He grew up in a family with a strong connection to the city's cultural scene - both his father, who founded Risør Jazzklubb, and his grandfather, who was also active in cultural life, have had a great influence on his path. Sebastian is an accomplished pianist, conductor and bandleader who has studied music in both Kristiansand and Boston. He has also served as a military musician in Oslo. The play about the City Fire is one of Sebastian's largest projects. It was created in connection with Risør's city anniversary and depicts the great city fire that struck Risør in 1861. The play gathered over 200 participants, both on stage and behind the scenes, and became a public celebration that involved a large part of the city's inhabitants. With an impressive number of actors in relation to the size of the city, this performance has become a symbol of Sebastian's ability to bring the local community together around large projects.
