Risør climbing club is a climbing club for everyone. This means that we are committed to making an effort to ensure that absolutely everyone has the opportunity to try climbing with us, regardless of age, skill level and experience. Our activities are based on the joy of sports, community and good health. In order for our members to experience this, we want to facilitate a sense of achievement, good unity and for them to feel included. We want to be a club with a well-established climbing environment for young people, especially for those who are not already part of a sports team. Risør climbing club was founded on November 3, 2014. We are mainly located in Risørhallen, with a climbing wall of over 300 m² and approx. 12 meters at its highest, plus a bouldering room. The climbing wall was built in the summer of 2015 and the bouldering room was completed in the summer of 2016. Since our wall is in a multi-purpose hall, we are not open all the time, but have fixed training times 3 times a week, from the beginning of September to the beginning of May. All training sessions are open to everyone, allowing climbers of all ages and abilities to participate.

Risør Kunstpark is a vibrant art center that offers exhibitions, workshops and creative experiences year-round, right in the heart of Risør.

The pool is 25 m long. The swimming pool is open to the public on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5-9 pm. 8-9 pm for adults only. The swimming pool is closed from June 1 to September 1. Otherwise, the opening hours follow the normal school year.

Risørhuset has the status of a regional cultural center and is the municipality's cultural center. There are 2 cinemas, a kiosk and a large library. Films are shown every evening. Wireless network throughout the building. Risørhuset was renovated in 2013 and is universally designed. Easy wheelchair access to all our premises. Automatic sliding doors at the main entrance.
