Colors in Music: Piano concert with students from the Norwegian Academy of Music
Welcome to the piano concert in Frydendal Church on Wednesday, January 22nd at 7 pm!
Every year, pianists from the Norwegian Academy of Music go on tour, and this year the tour will include a stop in Risør. This is a unique opportunity to hear several of Norway's leading young piano talents on perhaps Risør's finest grand piano.
The theme for this year's tour is COLORS IN MUSIC. This offers a particularly great program with great contrasts. Everything from Chopin to modern and completely new music. This year's southern tour will visit Lillesand, Grimstad and Risør before ending with a big concert at the Academy of Music in Oslo.

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
