ÆVESTADEN – modern folk music at its very best!
The Finstemt association invites you to a concert with Ævestaden (NO/SE) on Sunday, February 2nd at 7 pm!
Ævestaden is long chorales, modern lyrics and pop songs, and a soundscape that is not afraid of either the bright, dirty, electronic, or traditional.
The trio has performed at festivals such as By:Larm, Førdefestivalen and the Bergen International Festival, and now you have the chance to experience them live at Kunstparken!

The Finstemt Association is a music series that is artistically led by Eirik Dørsdal, Ingunn Lien Gundersen, Ånon Egeland and Erlend Eriksen Skarvang.

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
It's no wonder that people flock to Risør during the wooden boat festival, these are beautiful days with a fantastic atmosphere in the town, and the world's finest boats!
