Concert with Chaos and the Calm
A breath of fresh air to the roots scene, Chaos and the Calm have brought together a unique sound from Americana and pop, combined with storytelling lyrics. With Birgitte Hellwig on vocals and Joachim Henriksen on guitar, their music tells stories of freedom, dreams and humanity.
Joachim and Birgitte originally met in 2016 when they were both studying at Westerdals. Forming Chaos and the Calm, the duo released their first single "Fallow" in 2022, followed by "The Hill". The duo signed with Stoplight Records in 2023, and were quickly noticed by country artist Scott Scovill after the release of the single "Wild One", and the duo opened for Scott at his last concert in Oslo.
They released their first EP, Storyline, on April 26. Now the duo is looking forward, looking forward to going their own way and making their mark on the Norwegian Americana scene.

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
