Concert with the duo Bris
Throughout the fall, we are lucky enough to be visited by the duo Bris!
Bris is a musical duo from Risør consisting of Ingrid Mathilde Heistad (26) on vocals and Stian Bowen Dahl Andersen (31) on vocals and keyboards.
Stian is an experienced musician, he is a member of the local band Quip Azure which has excelled a lot in recent years, and he is educated and works as a music teacher at the Cultural School in East Agder.
Ingrid has always loved singing, and has taken singing classes at the cultural school, but it is only after she met Stian that she has started performing more with singing. They met at a mutual friend's after-party a few years ago, where they jammed a bit, and Stian thought Ingrid had a nice voice, so they started collaborating together and then established the duo "Bris".
Since then, they have had a number of performances around the city, both at cultural nights, festivals such as "Risørvibber" and "Villvin" and various nightclubs in the summer. They have a fairly varied repertoire that consists of both English and Norwegian cover songs from the 1960s to the 2010s.
The vibe they want to create is calm and comfortable, which is partly reflected in the name "Bris".

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
