The Risør Health Association, together with trade unions and chief safety representatives, would like to invite you to a lecture on women's health in the workplace. A little about the speakers: Marianne Gjellestad: She is a public health advisor in Agder County Municipality and a research fellow at the University of Agder. She researches what women's health means for women's participation in the workforce, work ability and sickness absence. Hege Hellevik: She has completed a number of research and development assignments in Norwegian municipalities within the health and social sector. "Work less, live more" is a book she has written that deals with how to work healthier, better and, not least, less. Sarah Uldal: Leads the first Norwegian pilot study on a shorter work week in 2024. How to modernize Norwegian working life? As a former burnt-out mother of young children, she has a particularly warm heart for parents of young children who are in a perpetual balancing act of bad conscience between work and family life. YOU ARE WELCOME! This event is suitable for everyone, and it is free. There will be light refreshments along the way, as part of a break. In addition, there will be a panel discussion with the speakers.

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.

It's no wonder that people flock to Risør during the wooden boat festival, these are beautiful days with a fantastic atmosphere in the town, and the world's finest boats!
