Saturday University - 30 years of the EEA Agreement
The EEA Agreement has turned 30, and November 28 marked 30 years since the last referendum on Norwegian membership in the EU. This seminar highlights and discusses the consequences of the "Norwegian model" of association with the EU for Norway. We will highlight the consequences for democratic governance and public administration of the agreement. We raise the question: Has the Norwegian form of association strengthened or weakened democratic and administrative autonomy and room for manoeuvre? In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
