Saturday, May 3rd, at 1:00 PM, the starting gun will be fired for Risør's very first Tom Waits run – an informal tribute to the poet of the bars and the dark side of life.
With 12 dining venues on the map, local music and home-designed t-shirts, the whole city is invited to join us for an afternoon and evening out of the ordinary.

Risør Wooden Boat Festival has been visited by 10-15,000 people every year since 1984 at the beginning of August. We are the meeting place for some of the world's most beautiful wooden boats. In addition, we promote coastal culture and traditional crafts in boats and construction. We have activities for all generations through a large program, both academic and social.
