What does it really mean to be an entrepreneur – and how do you take the step from idea to action? When the business manager invites you to an entrepreneur meeting at Brygga Restaurant in Risør, an open and low-threshold meeting place is planned for everyone who is curious about entrepreneurship.

The event is suitable for established entrepreneurs, those considering starting their own business, and those who want to hear exciting and inspiring entrepreneurial stories and build networks. It is as much about inspiration and networking as it is about practical insight.

During the event, you will hear short, concrete presentations from both entrepreneurs and key players in the region's entrepreneurial and innovation environment:

• Drive Agder
  The region's entrepreneurship center, which offers free guidance, courses and advice for entrepreneurs in all phases - from idea to established business.
• Young Entrepreneurship Agder
  A non-profit organization that works to develop entrepreneurship and creativity among children, young people and students, in close collaboration with the business community.
• Clinic South
  A local entrepreneurial business from Risør, established by two specialist nurses. The clinic works with stress management, mental health and preventive health services – both locally and digitally.
• SuperCap Technologies
  A technology-based startup that develops new solutions within energy storage and battery technology, with ambitions for application in demanding environments and future energy systems.

The presentations provide an insight into different types of entrepreneurship – from local service companies to technology startups and the surrounding support system.

Business Manager in Risør Municipality, Einar Brønlund, describes the purpose of the meeting as follows:

– The goal is to create interest in entrepreneurship, provide some practical information and showcase some concrete cases through short presentations. This is relevant both for those who are already established, for those who are considering starting something, and not least for younger people – really all age groups and fields of study.

In other words, the Entrepreneurs' Meeting is just as relevant for those of you who are in the starting phase as for those of you who are already in the process – or just want inspiration and new perspectives.
