Welcome to autumn in Risør
When autumn comes to Risør, the town calms down and takes on a new expression. The white houses and rocky cliffs are dressed in golden tones, and the clear air provides new experiences of the town and nature.
This is the time for trips, city walks, café visits, art, crafts and good meals with a view of the sea. In October and November there are events, concerts and the Handicraft Festival – and it is easy to find peace in what is perhaps Risør's most beautiful season.

NEWS - THE CRAFTS FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 17-19
The Handicraft Festival brings together the joy of creation and tradition throughout the city. Here, knitters, seamstresses, ceramists and textile artists meet for courses, lectures, exhibitions and an inspiring craft market. A weekend for those who love to create with their hands – in the middle of beautiful Risør.
